MAXIMILIANO PECCE
Artist
Maximiliano Pecce, an artist from Rosario, Argentina, never formally studied art but began his creative journey 12 years ago. His work revolves around plastics, aiming to raise awareness about the excessive plastic consumption in modern society. Initially, he experimented with melting plastic waste, but later, inspired by childhood nostalgia, he started working with melted plastic beads, reminiscent of his early years playing with them.
His unique assemblages not only serve as a critique of environmental issues but also evoke a sense of familiarity and playfulness. Over the years, he has exhibited his work across the United States, including New Mexico, Miami, Palm Beach, and California, gaining recognition for his innovative approach.
