María Eleonora Guiñazú is an Argentine visual artist specializing in abstract art, with nearly two decades dedicated to transforming emotions and life experiences into unique works of expression.

Her connection to creation began at an early age, driven by a fascination with working by hand. She first explored ceramics, then textile pieces, and eventually found her most authentic language in painting. Through this evolution, Guiñazú developed a deeply intuitive practice rooted in materiality, gesture, and emotional resonance.

Her artistic journey was profoundly shaped by the years she lived in Peru, Mexico, and Brazil. These experiences expanded her perspective and fostered a strong connection to the earth, color, and cultural richness of each place. Esmeralda is inspired by the ocean and its infinite turquoise tones; Safari explores earthy, ochre, and black hues; Black & White pays tribute to the strength of contrast; and her most renowned series, Malbec, is created using reserve wines from Mendoza, merging art with the viticultural essence of her homeland.
