DIEGO CHIARELLI

Painter

Diego, born in Argentina, was introduced to painting and art at a very young age, thanks to his mother, who made sure he had access to artistic experiences. He explored various workshops until he eventually joined the school of Rogelio and Urtio, although he did not complete his studies there. After a brief period away from art, he returned to it and realized that painting is where he shows his best self. It allows him to disconnect from reality and express himself without the need for words—something he deeply enjoys. This is what art means to him, and he hopes to be able to continue painting for a long time.In a pivotal phase of his work, he sought a creative shift that led him to explore circular supports and the conceptual essence of early twentieth-century portraiture. Embracing new materials, he integrated digital techniques into his process, transferring digital files onto canvas while maintaining the approach of a classical painter.
